GLC takes on Manchester.

Our second project took place in Manchester where the city roars at night. This gloomy city is lit up by the metropolis lights mirroring a starry night sky. We set the scene in this Gotham-like setting where we perfectly captured what Girlz Luv Carz is all about — increasing the representation of women in the car industry.

We brought together a collective of talented UK based creatives to capture the scene we set as we take over Manchester city.

Our Manchester project starkly contrasts our Cape Town project in every sense. This contrast showcases our ability to adapt, grow and expand anywhere we find ourselves. GLC exists in every city and isn't exclusive to one place. 

As the city of Manchester has rapidly grows largely due to the investment being pumped into developing and expanding the city so does the car community grow. With underground static car meets to mexico runs happening all around Manchester, the car community persists regardless of the attempts to shut down the car scene.

The UK car is definitely one week seek to explore as we interview and share stories of female UK based car enthusiasts. With more mainstream car events at Silverstone such as F1, Ferrari Race day, the Silverstone Festival and Japfest — you can really immerse yourself in the world of cars as an enthusiast.

We genuinely believe these spaces can be a thrilling escape from everyday life as the chaotic yet fascinating car scene grabs you into an invigorating experience of events. 

Girlz Luv Carz is creating a community around the love for cars with a unique approach. This is a space for everyone. We are highlighting the feminine existence within this space and shining light on female car enthusiasts and racers.

Spaces like Girls On Track UK(@girlsontrackuk) and Formula Woman(@formulawomanracing) inspire what we do. By developing a community around woman in the motorsport industry we bring power to them as well as encourage girls we dream of entering this space as a career to pursue it. There are no limits this. We encourage you to dream big with us.
